The service
ClipboardPortal is a free tool for moving your own text, links and files between your own devices. The service is provided "as is", may be slow or unavailable, and may lose data. Do not use it as your only copy of anything important.
Your content
You keep ownership of everything you send. You give us permission to store and transmit it only to operate the service for you. You are responsible for what you upload.
Acceptable use
- Do not upload anything illegal, including content that exploits children, malware, or content you have no right to share.
- Do not use the service to harass others, to spam, or to attack or overload it.
- Do not try to access other people's accounts or data.
- Do not use it to distribute copyrighted material you do not have the right to share.
Limits
We limit file size, storage per account and request rates, and we delete clips after 30 days. We may change these limits.
Accounts
Guest accounts are anonymous and can be lost if you lose every connected device or if we reset the service. Save your account with an email to reduce that risk.
Termination
We may suspend or remove accounts or content that break these terms. You can delete your account at any time from the app menu.
Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, ClipboardPortal and its operator are not liable for lost data or for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
