CLIPBOARDPORTAL

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 23, 2026

ClipboardPortal lets you copy text, links, images, audio, video and files on one device and paste them on another. This page explains what we handle and why. Contact: [email protected].

What we collect

What we do not do

Google Drive (optional)

If you tap Connect Google Drive, we ask for the drive.file permission only. It lets ClipboardPortal create and manage the files it creates in a "ClipboardPortal" folder in your Drive. We cannot see any other file in your Drive. We store a refresh token so we can copy new clips there until you disconnect. ClipboardPortal's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Disconnecting stops new copies; files already in Drive stay there until you delete them.

Retention and deletion

Clips are deleted automatically after 30 days. You can delete any clip at any time, and you can delete your whole account and all clips from the menu in the app. Deleting a clip also removes its copy in your connected Google Drive folder.

Where data is stored

Clips are stored on our hosting provider's servers (currently Render, Frankfurt, EU). Data is sent over HTTPS. Clips are not end-to-end encrypted at this time, so do not send secrets you cannot risk exposing.

Sharing

We share data only with the infrastructure providers needed to run the service, with Google if you connect Drive, or if the law requires it.

Children

ClipboardPortal is not intended for children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above.
